Beautify and prolong the life of your asphalt parking areas, by having Seal Master Pavement Sealer applied to your asphalt.
Another Good Job! Protect your asphalt investment from oxidation, erosion, and harmful
gas, oil and solvent spills. Constant exposure to the sun’s ultra violet
rays oxidizes the “ Asphalt Cement ” that holds asphalt together causing
the surface to become course and porous. Over time the pavement becomes
brittle developing more and more cracks. Water penetrating these cracks,
erodes the base on which the pavement is constructed, eventually causing the failing of the pavement, this creates the need for expensive repairs.
Gas, oil and solvent spills can dissolve the “ Asphalt Cement “ this also
creates the need for repairs.
Additional benefits:
- Sealing restores the original black color to asphalt and greatly enhances overall appearance of the property.
- The smooth, even surface of sealed pavement makes sweeping, snow removal and maintenance easier and less costly.
Application:
- Sealmaster sealer is mixed according to the manufacturers specification.
- Silica sand and latex polymers are then added to improve the adhesion
and wear of the cured coating
- After thoroughly cleaning the asphalt surface with power cleaning
equipment, we carefully trim the edges of the parking lot, being
careful not to get sealer on adjoining surface.
- The sealer is then applied using pressure spray equipment to achieve
a uniform coating of sealer on asphalt surface.
It is recommended that new pavements be sealed one to two years after installation and then every three to five years thereafter, depending on the amount of traffic and weather conditions.
